Youth chairman charges citizens on voters registration in Gokana

The chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Rivers State chapter, Bani Nwisabari, has taken the campaign for the Continuous Voters Registration exercise to Gokana Local Government Area.

The chairman and other members of the NYCN Rivers State were seen singing and dancing, calling on the attention of the people of the area to as a matter of urgency get registered for the Continuous Voters Registration exercise for them to be eligible to vote in credible candidate come 2023 general elections.

Speaking to newsmen and staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Gokana office, Bani said he’s appealing to INEC to extend the deadline for the registration.

He further said he has written to the Rivers State Government to declare a two days holiday to allow civil servants and students to get registered for the exercise.
