The university of Port Harcourt, School of Basic Studies hououred Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere of the Omega Power Ministries with an award of appreciation for his support and development of education in Nigeria.
Presenting the award to Apostle Chinyere was the director of the institution, Dr Josiah Hart.
In his speech, he recalled how Apostle Chinyere paid the school fees for 50 scholarship students in basic studies of prestigious University of Port Harcourt.
Notwithstanding more than 3,700 students currently on OPM University Scholarship studying Bachelors decree in different universities within Nigeria like UNIPORT, UST, UNICAL, UNILAG , etc.
Apostle Chinyere who is the general overseer of the church is widely known for his philanthropical activities across Rivers State and Nigeria
He is known to give university scholarship both in Nigeria and other foreign countries for more than 10 years since OPM foundation was founded .
