Steady Idisi: Missing Port Harcourt socialite confirmed dead

President of Steady Run Club and a notable Rotarian, Mr Steady Onome Idisi, who went missing February 20, after attending a Rotaract function in Asaba, Delta state has been confirmed dead by his family.

Recall, in a statement signed by Rotarian Eyone Andy Uwejeyan, the 5th District Governor of Rotary International District 9141, he said,

Mr Idisi and his friend had an encounter with gunmen suspected to be IPOB militants at Ihiala while on their way to Port Harcourt.

The friend was shot dead by the gunmen during the encounter while Idisi was nowhere to be found.

A statement from a member of Idisi’s family reads;

“To everyone who helped reposted, thank you very much. Unfortunately, my uncle and his friend have been confirmed dead. May their souls rest in peace.”
