Rivers police begins investigation into attack that killed 3 officers

PORT HARCOURT (FMG) — The Rivers Police command says it has commenced an investigation into the gruesome attack which left three police officers dead.

The incident occurred at the Rumuokoro flyover in the Obio Akpor local government area of Rivers State.

The spokesperson of the Rivers police command, SP Grace Iringe Koko who confirmed the incident says they are on the trail of the gunmen.

According to an eyewitness, the gunmen trailed and killed the officers who were escorts to some yet-to-be-identified persons who were also kidnapped by the gunmen
