Rivers’ parliamentary workers to go on strike

The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, Rivers State chapter has threatened to go on a warning strike over the poor condition of work.

According to their chairperson, Comfort Opune said the workers will go a 7 days warning strike if the government fail to listen to their demands.

Among these demands are the consolidated salary structure of the workers, poor condition of service and many others.

They said if the matter is not addressed in seven days, they will be forced to on a strike.
