Rivers Govt. reverses ownership of land occupied by DAAR Communication

The Rivers State Government through the Rivers State House of Assembly has reversed the Ownership of the Eight Hundred and Sixty-Eight plots of land occupied by DAAR Communication (AIT).

The move followed a report presented by the House Committee on Public Complaint and Petition. The report on its findings on the land acquisition petition against the DAAR Communication company by the four host communities of Ozuoba, Rumuosi, Rumuekini and Rumukwashi.

Presenting the report during plenary, the chairman of the House Committee, Evans Bipi said the land has been given to Rivers State Government over wrongful acquisition.
