The Kaani-Babbe Community Secondary School has begun operation following approval by the Rivers State Ministry of Education.
Our Correspondent who visited the school to ascertain its functionality reports that the students were much unlike a new school.
The Universal Basic Education Secondary School whose approval came barely two months ago has about 50 students in Junior Secondary class 338 in SS2, and 57 in SS1.
The report adds that about three teachers including the Principal were deployed there by the State Government while others were voluntary teachers from the community who came to help.
The report further reveals that four adults who were in their 50-60 years were being admitted to the Junior Secondary Class there.
