Reactions have continued to trail the appointment of Fourteen Thousand (14,000) Advisers by Governor Nyesom Ezewon Wike’s administration in the River States.
Reacting to the development, the chairman of the Civil Society Organizations in the State, Enefaa George says the appointment is coming as a shock, especially at a point when the society is talking about cutting the cost of Governance in the.
He said the Governor should not take Rivers State as a conquered territory, stating that the actions should be measured.
In his reactions, the Public Relation Officer of the CSO, said; “Wike appoints 14,000 election Riggers & 359 shooters that will intimidate Rivers people during next year’s election.
I’ve said it severally That Wiki is a desperate man, & he’s ready to spend up to 2024 Rivers budget to rig the 2023 election”.
He called on the opposition parties in the State to unite to redeem Rivers people from the bullying and caged administrative style of Wike.
Many have accused the Governor of recruiting thugs for the 2023 general elections while giving employment to his family members through Rivers State University and the ongoing Ignatius Ajuru University of Education recruitment by the State Government.

You will recall that in March this year during one of the Governor’s projects commissioning, the Governor had promised to provide stomach infrastructure ( human capital development) to party men and women who worked with him have fulfilled his promises to the People of Rivers State.
