Port Harcourt Polo Club president honoured with chieftaincy title

Chukwudi Dimkpa, president of Port Harcourt Polo Club has been coronated with a Chieftancy title as Mene Yereba 1 of Gwara community in Khana.

The installation was performed by the kingmakers of Luyor Gwara community, led by Nabari Barikui Neeta and other chiefs of the Royal Gah Gbene Abae dynasty in the Buga-Ue compound, in Bua Gwara community.

Dimkpa was bestowed with the title, Mene Yereba 1, meaning, “king of benevolence” for his act of kindness and benevolence to Gwara sons and daughters home and abroard, especially his charity outreach to displaced residence of Ilaubuchi-Diobu community, Port Harcourt, most of whom are indigenes of Gwara.
