Peter Obi visits Wike in Port Harcourt

The presidential flagbearer of Labour Party, Peter Obi has visited the executive Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezewon Wike in Port Harcourt.

While the outcome of the meeting was still unknown, it was the first of its kind after the fallout of the presidential primaries of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, with the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar emerging as the candidate of the party.

The former Anambra state governor was a presidential Aspirant under the PDP who later joined the Labour Party after he felt some foul play in the party is visiting governor Wike after he failed to secure the party’s ticket for 2023 general elections.

Wike silence has also been question whether he is plotting an exit from the PDP after the presidential candidate of his party refused to anoint him as his Vice Presidential nominee and instead, announced Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
