PDP Primary: Fubara Siminayi wins Rivers governorship ticket

Fubara Siminayi has emerged as the PDP governorship candidate during primary election held at the Obi Wali International Conference center in Port Harcourt.

The embattled state accountant general that has been declared wanted by the Economic And Financial Crime Commission, EFCC was declared the winner haven scored the highest number of votes to defeated his closer rival Isaac Kamalu.

The results indicate that Fubara Siminayi scored 721, Isaac Kamalu 86, George Kelly 37, Tammy Danagogo 36, David Briggs 4 and Felix Obuah 2.

Meanwhile Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has declared the Rivers State Accountant-General, Fubara Siminayi, and 58 others wanted for N435 billion fraud.

Siminayi, and four other Rivers State government officials, among others, are wanted for suspected N117 billion fraud, alleged criminal conspiracy, money laundering, misappropriation of public funds, and abuse of office.
