This assertion was re-echoed at the commissioning of the Port Harcourt Tools Mall built by the Allwell Ihunda- led Port Harcourt City Local Government Area administration, River State, South, Nigeria.
In commemoration of his one year in office, the Port Harcourt City Council Boss, Allwell Ihunda stated that the commissioning ceremony which is part of events to mark his one year in office will feature several projects executed by his administration.
Alwell Ihunda, while highlighting his achievements in the past one year, reiterated his commitment in ensuring evenly distribution of landmark projects across the twenty wards of the Local Government Area to boost commerce and businesses.
Speaking at the occasion on the benefits of the project to the public, the Special Guest of Honour and former Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Azubuike Nmerukini, thanked the State Governor Nyesom Wike for allowing the Local Government Councils in the State autonomy to function uninterruptedly.
While expressing their joy for the project, Stakeholders in the Local Government Area also commended Chief Ihunda for conceiving the idea of such a project that will create huge income with attended value to the social economic life of the people.
The Port Harcourt Tools Mall which is consists of thirty-four lock up shops, twelve toilets and a parking lot to ease business activities in the area is located at Rumuwoji Community at the mile one axis of the City is the first of its kind in the State.
