Ndigbo endorses Magnus Abe for governor

The Ndigbo in Rivers has endorsed the Social Democratic Party (SDP) flagbearer, Magnus Abe as their preferred candidate ahead of the general election.

The Ndigbo’s stated this during a courtesy visit on the SDP Governorship Candidate, Abe at his campaign office in Port Harcourt.

The Ndigbos are about the most populous non indigenes residing in Rivers and that numerical strength they have promised to give to Senator Abe on the eleventh of March 2023.

Speaking at the event to formally endorse Senator Abe as their sole candidate for the Governorship election, Board of Trustees Chairman of the Igbo Community in Rivers, His Royal Majesty Eze STANHOPE OGADINMA-OKEORJI, said they decided to endorsed ABE because of his past performances in public office.

Chairman of the Nigerian Ethnic Forum in the State and a grassroot mobilizer, High Chief UCHENNA OKOKOBA expressed the confidence of the Igbo Community in the candidacy of Senator ABE and assured him of the support of the Igbo people living and working in Rivers.

The SDP Governorship Candidate, Senator Magnus Abe, who has been endorsed by different ethnic groups in response, promised to promote prosperity in the State and ensure Security of lives and properties of every single person in the State irrespective of their origin, religion or creed insisting that he will win the Governorship election because he is ready for service.

The Ndigbo ethnic nationality in State also conferred on Senator MAGNUS ABE the title of Nwanne Di Na Mba, meaning A Brother in a Strange Land.
