The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, says prevention and early detection of breast cancer amongst men and women in reduction deaths associated with the deadly disease.
The acting managing director of the NDDC, Emmanuel Audu stated this during a one-day Breast Cancer sensization programme, at the NDDC headquarters in Port Harcourt.
Breast cancer is one amongst several deadly diseases in the world that consumed several lives, and to help fight to disease NDDC on yearly bases organizes a breast cancer sensitization programme for its staff
The managing director of the NDDC Emmanuel Audu who was represented by the Director, of Health and Social Services George Uzonwanne, urged the staff to imbibe healthy personal habits to reduce the risk of Breast Cancer in the country, as well as exercise regularly.
He advised both men and women to go for breast cancer screening at designated wellness centers periodically, for early detection and prevention.
