NDDC Donates essential drugs, medical equipment to Rivers Govt

Relief and essential materials donated by NDDC to the Rivers, through Rivers state flood management taskforce

The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has donated relief materials and essential drugs to the Rivers State Flood Management Taskforce for onward distribution to the affected Communities in the State.

Acting Managing Director of the Commission, Emmanuel Audu who handed over the items to members of the committee said the gesture was to help ease the pains of flood victims.

Audu said though the flag-off began in Rivers State, other States affected by the flood within the Niger Delta Region will receive similar items.

Chairman, of the Rivers State Flood Management Taskforce, George Nweke, commended the NDDC for supporting the State Government in alleviating the pains of those affected by the ravaging flood.

Among the items donated by the Commission were Mosquito nets, Ambulances, and Generating Sets.
