The acting managing director of the Niger Delta development commission NDDC, Emmanuel Audu has commissioned a thirty kilowatts solar power light at the Federal medical centre FMC, Owerri.
Audu said the solar power project was initiated to address issues of poor power supply at the medical centre.

The chief medical director of FMC Owerri, Kingsley Achigbo, represented by the head of training and research, Anthony anyhow says NDDC intervention has safe the medical centre of the huge cost and seamless medical services delivery.
The NDDC acting managing director also promised that the commission will intervene in the road network at the medical centre.
