The people of Lueku community in Khana local government area of Rivers state has lamented over what they described as government abandonment of their schools and community.


The loud cry follow the insecurity that have bedevil the communities in Khana local government area in recent past, which leads to parents sending their children to city schools due to fear.
Speaking following the incident, Mr Loveday Baridana, the community development chairman CDC of time Lueku said over seventh percent normalcy has returned to communities that was affected.
Further more, Mr Loveday said he wonders why Lueku people is still suffering the effect of it, he appeal to the authority of Khana LGA and the government of Rivers State to come to the aide of Lueku people and not only coming to them during electioneering campaign he added.
