In a bid to improve education in his constituency, the lawmaker representing Omuma/Etche constituency at the House of Representatives, Ephraim Nwuzi has distributed the fourth batch of educational materials to public schools in the area.
So far, a total number of 75 schools have benefited from the gesture of the Federal law maker since he assumed office. In addition to the aforementioned figure, 15 schools are beneficiaries of the current school material distribution project.
The lawmaker, made the donation to head teachers in Okehi, Etche Local government area, March 7, 2022.
Ephraim, was represented by his senior legislative aide Nwafor Uzodinma.
Mr Nwafor, during the donation noted that the lawmaker decided to carryout the gesture in order to improve education in the area, and also reduce financial burden on parents of students.
The items distributed includes, text books, exercise books, computers, school bags, school desks, and other writing materials.
The Head teachers, commended the lawmaker for the kind gesture and promised to make good use of the items.
