The member representing Khana-Gokana in the House of Representatives, Dumnamene Robinson Dekor has called on all leaders of the party in the nineteen wards of Khana Local Government Area to seek for way to canvas and mobilize support for the People’s Democratic Party ahead of 2023 general elections.
The meeting which lasted for about two hours was called at the instance of the Lawmaker, Dum Dekor, at the local government chairman’s lodge with the Khana Council Boss as the host. NPress Port-Harcourt correspondent gathered that opportunities were given to party men and women who felt aggrieved by the decision of the party over consensus candidature and the aftermath of the primaries.
Speaking to our correspondent, the leader PDP in ward 15, Moses Pianen said the meeting was to sensitized party men and women on the need to mobilize, canvas and galvanize supports for the party ahead of 2023 general elections.
He said the meeting was also to address the issue of aggrieved members of the party who felt unhappy about the outcome of the party’s Primaries. He further stressed that the PDP is united and stronger under the leadership of Dumnamene Robinson Dekor and the ever performing chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Thomas Bariere.
