Khana LGA sets to revives electricity

The chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Thomas Bariere, is set to bring an end to perennial power failure in Bori, the traditional headquarters of the Ogoni.

Bariere led other principal officers of the council to the Bori sub-station to ascertain the level of damage at the station as a result of vandalization and activities of criminals.

The chairman expressed concern over the bad state of the facility but reassured the people of his administration commitment restored the facility used for the benefit of the people of Khana.

The chairman had during his one year anniversary celebration said that his administration is working round the clock to make sure power supply is restored in the area.
