Deputy Governor Ipalibo Harry-Banigo thank delegates after victory at PDP primaries

The deputy Governor of Rivers State, Ipalibo Harry-Banigo has expressed gratitude to the delegates and the entire leadership of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in her senatorial district over her emergence as the party flag bearer for 2023 elections, in the just concluded primaries.

Speaking to newsmen after her pronouncement as the winner of the Rivers West Senatorial primaries in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Mrs Banigo told our correspondent the process was hitch free and transparent.

Mrs Harry-Banigo assured her constituents of effective representation with a promise to delivery the dividends of democracy to her people.

Her words reads, “I thank all the delegates of the Rivers West Senatorial District who came out in their large number to show their acceptability of our great party, the PDP, this shows that we are very much on ground. You can be sure that I will represent you very much effectively.”

Apart from senator Barry Mpigi who is returning to the Red Chamber, Harry-Banigo is to take over from Senator Betty Apiafi, whilst Allwell Onyesoh takes over from Senator George Sekibo all of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
