Heavy rain fall disrupts academic activities in KENPOLY

Heavy rain downpour on early Wednesday morning has disrupted academic activities in parts of the engineering department at the Ken Saro Wiwa Polytechnic, Bori as flood takes over the admission, security and bursary building respectively, blocking staff from accessing their respective offices.

Lamenting over the incident, a female IT student, Goodness Wallson Jack who came to the school for her clearance to enable her return for her HND programme in the school describes the event as an “Unfortunate event” as there was no way staff of the various offices could access their respective offices for an official duty so as to enable her with her clearance process proper.

Mr Anele Promise, a non-academic staff with the bursary department said unprofessional drainage construction is responsible for the flood.
