Gokana PDP holds national delegate election

The Gokana PDP held her national delegate election at the party secretariat in Mogho Junction.

Gwezia Joe, the electoral officer conducted the election through voice voting. Alom Austin Mba declared the results.

The participants with one accord elected Chief Hon. Kenneth B Kobani as the Gokana LGA National Delegate through voice voting.

In the same vain, Vurasi Baridon was also elected as the “Person with disability”.

The Nigerian Press Port Harcourt correspondent gathered that the process was free, fair and credible and was affirmed by the Electoral Officer of the Local government who represented Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.

The chairman of Gokana LGA, Confidence Deko, Hon. Dumle Maol, member representing Gokana State Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Fred Kpakol, Commissioner for Agriculture, Austin Lenyie Sor, former LGA party chairman, Monday Dum-iye, PDP Chairman Gokana LGA, amongst others that participated in the delegate congress of the party.
