Flood Intervention: NDDC donates relief materials to Bayelsa state govt

Flood Relief Donations

The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC in line with its policy to assist States in the Niger Delta ravaged by the recent flood has donated relief materials of food and household items, to Bayelsa State Government to ameliorate the victim’s pains.

The Acting Managing Director of the Commission, Emmanuel Audu said the Commission shared in the pains of those affected by the devastating flood

Since the ravaging flood that devastated some States of the Niger Delta region, the NDDC has been on the road to donating relief materials to affected States in the Region.

Impressed with the NDDC intervention, the Chairman, of Bayelsa State Emergency Management Agency, Sam Igurubia said the relief materials will go a long way in alleviating the pains of flood victims.

He assured the NDDC that the relief materials will be distributed amongst those affected by the recent flood in the State.
