Newly recruited officers of the Nigeria Security and civil defence corps NSCDC have been advised to maintain discipline and exhibit the highest level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
The of the corps in Edo State gave this advise during the passing out parade of newly recruited officers in the state.
One hundred and fifty one indigenes of Edo state were just recruited into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC as part of efforts to resuscitate and reposition the corps to tackle evolving Security challenges facing the country. The passing out parade climaxed a three month training for them.
The leadership of the corps and other security agencies who were at the passing out parade were unanimous in their commendation for the men and women who have been fully groomed in various techniques and tactics of identifying and combating security threats.
The recruited officers who were trained in various tactical techniques including dispute resolution and counter terrorism, expressed high expectations as new members of the NSCDC. The officers are expected to attend further trainings.
