Douglas Fabeke wins Labour Party senatorial ticket

The president of the Ogoni Development Initiative, Douglas Fabeke has won the South-East Senatorial district ticket under the platform of Labour Party.

Douglas Fabeke was declared winner haven scored the highest number of votes in the party Primaries held at the Senatorial district headquarters, Bori Ogoni.

Our correspondent reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Khana officials were there to monitor the process, and the Nigerian Police Force to maintain law and order.

By his declaration as the winner of today’s primary, Douglas Fabeke is to content with Senator Barry Mpigi of the PDP and Eric Nwibani of the APC.
