The Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Emmanuel Audu has charged the commission’s staff not to collude with those working against the progress and development of the Niger Delta region.
Audu stated this during a Staff Work Ethics/Organisational Behaviour Advocacy Programme at the commission’s headquarters in Port Harcourt.
The Staff Work Ethics/Organisational Behaviour Advocacy Programme is amongst several mechanisms initiated by the NDDC to strengthen the bond within its workforce.
Acting managing director of the NDDC Emmanuel Audu who commended staff for their resilience in steering the commission forward over the years said staff should be mindful and careful of those described as enemies of the Niger Delta development.
Guest speakers noted that achieving the goals of any organisation was tied to the efficiency of the organisation’s workforce.
The guest speakers also urged the NDDC management to always adhere to the Public Procurement Act to deliver service to the people of the Niger Delta region.
