Deputy governor Ipalibo Harry-Banigo wins PDP senatorial ticket

The Rivers State deputy governor, Ipalibo Harry-Banigo has been declared the winner of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primaries held today at the headquarters of West Senatorial district in Rivers State.

Harry-Banigo will take over from the current senator representing West Senatorial district in the National Assembly, Senator Betty Apiafi.

Our correspondent reports that stakeholders of the party of the Senatorial district unanimously voted for Harry-Banigo in an atmosphere devoid of rowdiness.

Meanwhile the executive chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Vincent Job has expressed optimism that the candidates of the party will do excellently well when elected into office come 2023 following their track records. Whilst attributing the success of the party primaries of the leadership of the Governor of Rivers State, Ezewon Wike.
