Degema lawmakers pass vote of confidence on LGA boss

In recognition of his outstanding performance in office, members of the Degema Legislative Assembly, Tuesday, passed a vote of confidence on the chairman of Degema LGA, Michael Williams.

Leader of the 9th Assembly, Johnson Eugene Johnson, commended the Council Chairman for being a leader that people of the LGA were proud of, owing to his people-oriented leadership.

He stated that members of the 9th Legislative Assembly were fortunate to have and work with a compassionate chairman, who prioritizes the welfare of his people, over and above his personal desires, adding that; “you have done so well for us.”

Hon. Johnson thanked the Chairman for executing projects in the various communities of the LGA, based on the peculiarities and challenges faced by the people, describing him as a responsive and proactive Chairman.

He particularly thanked the Chairman for being friendly, kind and generous to members of the legislature, noting that the Council Boss had freely given all entitlements to the 9th Assembly, without the councillors even asking for them.
