Chief of army staff flags-off 3 end of year exercises in Rivers State

The chief of Army staff lieutenant general Farouk Yahaya has assured that all structures used for illegal oil theft will be destroyed and perpetrators of the economic crime brought to book.

Lieutenant general Farouk ya haha stated this during the Flagg off ceremony of three military operations at Ahoada west local government area of Rivers State.

Exercise enduring peace, golden dawn and still, waters are the three military operations that were Flagged off by the chief of army staff, lieutenant general Farouk Yahaya. According to the army chief, these exercises will further boost ongoing operations towards tackling security challenges associated with the yuletide season as well as ensure security in the build-up to the twenty-twenty general elections.

Lieutenant general Farouk Yahaya also used the occasion to remind crude oil thieves and economic saboteurs that the military is determined to pull down their structures.

To ensure the success of military operations, the support and commitment of the local populace are key.

Exercise enduring peace, golden dawn, and still, waters involving other sister security agencies is due to commence from October 18 to December 23rd,2022 will hold simultaneously in the north-central, southeast, south-south, and southwest zones of the country.
