8 million young Nigerians recently complete INEC registration exercise

INEC says over 8 million young Nigerians completed the recently concluded continuous registration exercise.

According to INEC, the over 10 million fresh registrants with over 12 million persons completing their registration.

Earlier on Arise News, INEC spokesperson, Festus Okoye, said “it is not INEC’s fault that some Nigerians could not register the votes”.

He said “over 28 million Nigerians visited the commission online portal but many didn’t show up for the physical registration until the last minute”.
