Unlocking the global industry potentials and creating opportunities for a greener pastures was the expectation on the occasion of signing the Memorandum of Agreement between KIG ENERGY LIMITED And BILKIN COMPANY LIMITED.
The Amayanabo in council, Chiefs, Youths and Elders of Bille Kingdom witness the signing ceremony of the (Memorandum Of Agreement) MOA between the KIG ENERGY Limited And The BILKIN company Limited on 28th of July 2022.
Bille kingdom to Kick-Start the process of establishing Bille modular refinery and transforming the entire kingdom into a Smart City.
The both companies agreed that the proposed modular refinery will be producing a capacity of 7,000 barrels per day – to be expanded over time to 30,000 barrels per day in future.
At least 200 acres of land has been mapped out for the Bille Kingdom modular refinery and that preliminary work on data gathering has been ongoing for the purpose of commencing a full-scale feasibility study for the project.
It is therefore expected that with formal signing of (Memorandum Of Agreement) MOA, KIG ENERGY LIMITED state that they will be able to take further steps, including carrying out a feasibility study towards the realization of the set objectives.
The Bille Kingdom modular refinery will create at least 10,000 direct and indirect jobs for the Bille people.
The CEO, KIG ENERGY Limited, thank the Amayanabo HRM King Igbikingeri Ngowari Cornelius Herbert, the Agbaniye-Jike the XVIII, the Bille Kingdom Council of Chiefs, Bille Kingdom Youth Federation, Bille Kingdom Community Development Committee, Elders, and all other stakeholders for taking this bold initiative to take the development of the Bille Kingdom to a greater and sustainable level.
