Bayelsa governor has posited that his Rivers counterpart, Nyesom Wike has set a high bar in governance, those ready to take over from him must pray for double anointing.
While speaking in Port Harcourt at the commissioning of Mgbuosimini-Nkpo Road on Wednesday, Governor Douye Diri said “Most of us who had lived in Port Harcourt in the past, if we come now, we will loose our way”.
Governor Diri enjoined those preparing to occupy the Brick House after Wike to brace up as Governor Wike has set high standards difficult to beat.
“The governor of Rivers State have set a high bar in governance; those who want to take over from him must pray to God for double anointing to meet up the standard set by Gov Wike, so that your people do not throw stone at you.” Diri said.
Governor Wike has disclosed that the newly built Mgbuosimi-Nkpor road is a continuous reinforced concrete paved road which has a minimum life span of 25 years.
