The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has extended the ongoing strike by twelve weeks, the president of the union, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke drop the hint on Monday.
The decision was announced earlier today after its National Executive Council meeting. The university lecturers said the decision becomes imperative following the failure of the federal government to meets its demands despite pleas from major stakeholders.
The union accused the federal government of jeopardising the future of Nigerian students with its handling of their demands.
