AFCON U-20: Nigeria draw hosts, Egypt, Mozambique and Senegal

Nigeria U-20 team. The Flying Eagles

Nigeria will play hosts Egypt, Mozambique, and Senegal in the group stage of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The development comes on the back of the final tournament draw conducted on Friday evening.

The tournament will be played from 19 February to 11 March 2023 in Egypt: Cairo, Ismailia, and Alexandria.

Group B are Uganda, CAR, South Sudan and Congo. Group C, consists of Gambia, Tunisia, Benin Republic and Zambia.

The top four teams at the championship will secure qualification tickets for the 2023 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
