3 killed as two-story building collapse in Aluu

The Rivers government has been urged to put mechanisms in motion to checkmate the rising issue of collapsed buildings in the state.

The chairman of the Mbodo-Aluu community development council CDC, Nelson Wali Stated this following the collapse of a two-story building at Mbodo, Ikwerre local government area of Rivers.

He said the community was now in mourning mode following the death of three persons.
Wali said by the government putting more attention towards building construction, will save lives and  property.
