2023: Rivers PDP media team raises alarm over an alleged plot to buy off PVC

Members of the People Democratic party Presidential campaign media organization in Rivers State have raised alarm over an alleged plot by some desperate politicians in the state to buy off permanent voters card ahead of INEC‘s proposed distribution of PVCs in the coming days. people’s

The spokesperson of the PDP presidential campaign in the state Lelonu Nwibubasa further called on security agencies and other relevant authorities to investigate the matter to avoid a breach of peace in the state.

Its the second time in two weeks that members of the PDP presidential campaign organization In Rivers State are raising alarm over planned attacks on their members on the orders of LGA chairmen who have mandated to ensure that campaigns for the presidential candidate of the PDP Atiku Abubakar in the state will be frustrated.

Nwibubasa also said they are aware of an ongoing arrangement by some politicians to illegally acquire voter cards from Rivers Voters especially as INEC begins the nationwide distribution of PVCs

The PDP presidential campaign organization however warned those assigned to carry out these heinous crimes to desist from it as their actions will be meted with stiffer penalties.
