2023: Akwa-Ibom INEC meet stakeholders, assures fair, credible election

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has assured that the conduct of elections in Akwa Ibom state will be exceptional.

INEC National Commissioner, May Agbamuche gave the assurance in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital on the sidelines of the INEC stakeholders forum.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Akwa Ibom state brought together major stakeholders in the electoral process for interaction as elections draw near.

INEC National Commissioner supervising Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Rivers state, May Agbamuche stated that political parties had no cause to fear concerning credible elections.

Resident Electoral Commissioner in Akwa Ibom state, Cyril Omorogbe assured that standards would be maintained.

Omorogbe also spoke on the challenges in collecting PVCs in the state. Other critical stakeholders spoke about their expectations in the upcoming elections.
